Miniature accessories are everywhere, but Baby Jane is a whole new world. Saint Jane is the first luxury scarf brand to create true micro versions of its scarves using the exact same premium materials and construction as the originals.
Where many miniature products take shortcuts, we took none. Every Baby Jane is crafted from the same 100% mulberry silk as our full-sized scarves, featuring the same vibrant colours, hand-rolled hems and our signature Double-Sided or Nothing prints. Each piece is a literal miniature version of its larger counterpart, made with the same attention to detail and craftsmanship that defines every Saint Jane design.
We didn't want Baby Jane to feel like a novelty. We wanted the real thing, just smaller. If anything, making it miniature made us even more obsessive about the details.
Bag charms may be having a moment, but long before Labubus took over our handbags, we were schoolgirls in Hong Kong with backpacks weighed down by keychains, charms and tiny collectibles. There was an unspoken playground competition of who had the most coveted collection. Weekends were spent wandering markets searching for whatever was trending at the time, from Ty Beanie Babies to Tamagotchis that somehow always seemed to need feeding in the middle of class. More than a few Tamagotchi funerals were held. RIP.
Raised between Hong Kong and Singapore, where our mother ran the first fairy shop in our very own fairyland garden, we were always drawn to tiny worlds and tiny treasures. Our love affair with miniatures was inevitable.
Mini dogs, mini handbags (mini breakdowns). Creating a micro silk scarf felt like the natural next chapter for Saint Jane.
Baby Jane is also the first piece in what we like to think of as the world's smallest luxury wardrobe.
With the growing popularity of Labubus, Jellycats and collectible bag charms, we can't help but notice a lot of naked charms roaming the streets. While the charms themselves have become hugely popular, it's becoming harder to make them feel uniquely yours when everyone is carrying the same one.
